That is a very odd resolution. Are you sure your hardware works proper?

Maybe this machine / OpenfirmWare is to old for setting the resolution
via software. Some Sun framebuffers detect the resolution via some pins
of the 13W3 connector. Have a look at the sun.hardware.FAQ.txt, section
"Monitor standards" for detaild infos.
