   Is that MECC? They did Oregon Trail and a zillion others that I remember in
glowing green glory from my grade school days. My sister-in-law worked for
them in St. Paul as a programmer until they got shut down by whichever Big
Corp Co. owned them last. I seem to recall her saying that she actually coded
on both a PC and a Mac to ensure that they had consistent products that were
written _for_ each platform (and not just ham-fisted ports).
   Happily, those games, written a good half-dozen years ago for Macs that
have since turned a dusky olive color, still run on my current iMac under OS
X!
