Wait, I'm confused - CDs have 44.1K 16 bit samples per stereo channel,
so that is 88.2K * 16 Bits, or 176.4K Bytes/second, right? So what is
the benefit of a 256K MP3?

I'm not saying there isn't any, I just don't have the info to make
sense of it myself...
