In the day, Wendys (at least this was the buzz...) ground their beef on-site 
in each restaurant, ensuring fresh hamburger.  I experienced the downside on 
more than one occasion when I found birdshot in the burger during or shortly 
after quail season.

They DO still have GOOD burgers.
