[rescue] OS/2 anyone?

You might like it if you keep in mind that it's Not Unix.  It's more or
less a refinement of the ideas behind Windows and DOS.  -Definitely-
PC-centric, although it runs on PowerPC as well.

The last version I used was Version 3.  You probably want OS/2 Warp
Connect version 3.  The "connect" implies that it has a TCP/IP stack,
which prior versions did not.  Version 4 is neat, too, but the UI
changed in response to Windows 95.

If possible, get a copy of OS/2 with a blue spine on the box.  The
boxes with a red spine require you to supply your own Windows 3.1
diskettes (which may not work if you have an OEM copy of Windows 3.1)
for Win-OS/2 support.  The blue spine boxes have all the Windows DLLs
embedded into OS/2 for Win-OS/2 support.
