[rescue] OT: "Top Ten" Mac OS X resources?

Off-topic, but maybe less than some of today's traffic...

Can any of you Mac OS X users recommend some good Resources? Like
mailing lists, web sites, books?

One of our developers is using one of these, and I'm stuck trying to
help him without benefit of my own machine or much time. The biggest
issues are trying to make it behave as much as possible like a "normal"
Unix box on our network, even going so far as to joining an NIS domain
and mounting NFS volumes and so on.

Thanks...
