[rescue] dealing with node-locked software on sun4m

In a corner at work, we have a Sparcstation 10 running a Web site with 
a node-locked copy of WAIS. This occasionally makes me worry, since 
WAIS is long-dead, and the Sparc 10 isn't all that new either. Does 
anyone here know whether, if I had a PROM reader/burner, I could 
duplicate the PROM, hostid and all, and use another Sparc 10 as a clone?

Alternatively, does anyone know what became of the commercial WAIS code 
base or developers?
