Work has just bought one (a 2 CPU upgrade for an E3500); I calculated
that it is just about cheaper to fly someone to the states, pick up an 8
CPU E4500 on Ebay and bring it back.

Specialist computer movers also seem to charge insane prices. Work is
paying UKP5,000 to get a donated 3-rack Origin 2000 (24 CPUs) delivered.
Mind you, they don't know it yet, but they might earn that money as the
computer room doesn't have very good access.
