[rescue] Bizarre auctions & SparcStation IPXs... (update)

My guess says the checksum byte is bad.  There's a procedure of some
sort or another to generate a valid checksum. 

See http://www.squirrel.com for more than you could possibly wish
to know about a Sun's NVRAM.  I believe it has the procedure documented.
