>From your post, it sounds like you got rid of it.  If so, why? was it not
useful for other equipment besides the disk arrays?

Also, did this beast need 110 or 220 voltage?  Did it put out a lot of heat
or noise?

These are nice.  I had one for a while with two A5000 arrays in it.

its a standard 19" rack; the extra width is room for the power sequencers,
etc.

Depends on the equipment; you can always just put shelves in it.
