[rescue] SGI quad IP25 cpu question

Hey

I just fired up my quad r10k onyx to find out that first of all in hinv -v
cpu3 is not active (bad cpu).
Well now I got irix finally installed and after about 5 minutes the
machine dumps memory with the error:

PANIC: cpu1 hardware failure

So isnt it supposed to detect the defective cpu right after startup?

Does anybody have a working quad r10k 195mhz board spare that
he might want to sell?
