I knew a fellow in a programming class that used sequential variable
names, based on when he decided he needed one...
The first variable he needed in an application was "a".
The second was "b".
And so on - after using all 26 possible variables, he moved on to "aa".
He kept a sheet of paper, describing what each variable was used for
(he had a data dictionary, of sorts!)
I don't think he is programming anymore. ;^)
OT - anyone have any exp. creating data dictionaries? My $EMPLOYER is
starting to think about code reuse, standardization, etc....
Thanks,
=====
