OK, as everyone has probably seen I have just aquired ain Indigo 2 1000
with MaxImpact, drives, etc...
Well, now that I have the SCSI problem taken care of, I don't have the
root password....
So, I grab my unopend Irix 6.2 CD that I got with an Indy R5000 150
box that I picked up locally for $75.00, and it says it supports Indigo 2
(but doesn't specifically mention anything about Indigo 2 10000).
I select install from the console, it copies the installation tools to the
hard drive, and then when that finishes I get:
Unable to execute scsi(0)disk(1)rdisk(0)partition(1)/unix.IP28: media not loaded
Unable to load scsi(0)disk(1)rdisk(0)partition(1)/unix.IP28: no recognizable
file system on device
Failed to boot
ERRR.... does my copy of Irix not support the Indigo 2 10000 or am I just
missing something....
