I have to pump one of the SunHELP advertisters here - 
Lonestar Computer Corp, www.lonestarcomputer.com.  
They're in Dallas, and have INSANELY CHEAP replacement-battery, 
entire-unit-refurb, and refurb-unit sales.  

All of my equipment (at the colo and at home) is on APC 
stuff I've gotten from Lonestar.

In terms of surge protection, I'm looking at stuff from
Brickwall (www.brickwall.com).
