My experience is similar.  If you lose coverage for just a little while 
your session will cease to work.  There may be some trouble talking 
directly to a Cisco router with one of these as well. Cisco doesn't talk 
blowfish (rsa only) and the SK doesn't talk rsa. Check the forums on 
hiptop.com for more details about this.

I haven't tried talking to a Cisco so I don't know if this is true or 
not.
