Yes, it's not one of the things that I'm proud of.  Isn't it funny how a
company that can get so much right with filesystem internals (ie: XFS
and CXFS) can get so much wrong with the upper levels of filesystem
abstraction (ie: requiring /usr to be mounted, symlinking /var to
/usr/var, etc.)?
