I highly doubt I was "doing something wrong" - the Expert3D-Lite video card
and 500Mhz CPU are just slower than a GeForce 4MX on a P3-800.

I got tired of watching the screen redraw when I flipped workspaces in
Windowmaker due to the Wildcat-based PCI video card.
