It has screwed me badly in the past, both in terms of reliability and
performance. NetBSD was there first, YEARS before FreeBSD, and is WAY
more mature on that platform.
But trust me...anything x86 that I'm involved with gets FreeBSD if it
needs to be reliable. FreeBSD is great (amazing actually) on x86
hardware. On anything else it's a port of a "very x86" OS.
