   Well, for every *active* connection maybe.  But big AlphaServers have 
amazing I/O bandwidth.  It's hard to make an AS4100 sweat.  I'm not 
even running all four procs right now because of a NetBSD bug...it's 
running uniprocessor, and never hits a load average of 1!
