[rescue] any tricks for installing/removing ram from sparc10s?

strangely enough, when i used the remaining two 64meg ram sticks
in another sparc10 which i have, the older 16,egs sticks came out
pretty easily, and opnly a little force was needed to set the new
sticks in place, not enough to hirt my fingers!

i wonder if someone put something into the sockets of the sparc10
which caused me all the trouble, and that goo has sort of hardened in
place? i do not plan to test this hypothesis:-( 


anyway, i now have 8 16meg ram sticks for sparc10s, many of which
probably would also work in the more popular sparc10 (is there any way
of telling which would do so?). what am i bid in exchange - it would
have to work in a sparc10 and not already be present in my systems.
about the only thing i would automatically be interested in is a
a tgx+ framebuffer (i like the snappy feel they give to the display).
other suggestions?
