[rescue] Anyone ever use an LX for ppp?

I've run several sun4m boxes (including LX) at 38400 in solaris with
nary a problem. I've read reports of 115200 and the chip itself seems to
support more. 

This mauy be a specifically openbsd issue, I've had no trouble or
garbage characters at all usng a wyse 150+ on my Lx at 9600 in netbsd
1.6. Nor an HP320Lx, 720 jornada, or ultra10 (just so we know it's not
just the 150 that is good)

I may just go try out somethign faster from the jornada and see.

If you need to end up installing netbsd, it's not too painful
from a bandwidth standpoint evne on dialup if you can leave a weget
running at night to grab the packages.   

compiling a kernel in 1.6 is a bit of a bitch for sparc, but even that
is doable. Iv'e got piles of instructions..... which I'm still sorting through.
