generally all SCA drives are the same

.. except for maybe EMC firmware

you might find on a former compaq server drive a hidden partition used
for the compaq f1- utilities, but compaq does nothing weird in their
firmware other than a compaq ID

nor does a SS20 need anything weird in the firmware, though may say
disksuite (?) requires differentiating serial numbers
