There are new SGI OEM Toshiba drives for $39 at

      http://shop.store.yahoo.com/microexpress/btos40xscsib.html

Made for O2, and have the cool curved bezel, but should work and do
audio-over-SCSI just fine in the Indigo2.

Some SGI drives have problems with non-Sony or Toshiba drives...
legend has it that the Irix mount_iso9660 binary contains the strings
SONY and TOSHIBA, and hex-editing the TOSHIBA to PLEXTOR (same string
length, yaay) makes it play better with the Plextors. I haven't tried
yet.

So far my Plextor 40x (on Indy R5000 under unpatched 6.5) is mostly
fine (haven't tried audio-over-SCSI), but won't mount ISO 9660
CD-ROMs. EFS CDs mount fine, though.
