[rescue] More Items of Irix Interest

After I finally got NFS installed, my SGI Indigo2 wanted to reboot so it
could "complete the installation." I assume SGI thought this up themselves,
and didn't crib it from Bill's Boys over in in Redmond ....

In any case, when it came up, I got about a dozen console messages like
this:

Oct 9 17:43:54 6A:blinky unix: dksc1d5vol: <6>[Alert] Illegal request<6>:
Illegal field in CDB (asc=0x24, asq=0x0)<6> CDB:<6> 1a<6> 0<6> 0<6> 0<6>
c<6> 0<6>

If "dksc1d5vol" means SCSI controller 1, unit 5, well, that's the outboard
CD-ROM reader-burner. This doesn't seem to have hurt anything, in that
everything I tried afterwards works, including being an NFS client, but I
hate messages like that.

Has anyone any suggestions about what I should do about it?

Thanks.
