I found that spegaghti anda bottled/canned sauce is pretty cheap.

But, spegahti and soy sauce and hot sauce is even cheaper.  That is
something I make fairly often for myself.  Now if only it would pack
well to work.

<I gotcha beat.  The local store here sells an off-brand of "Raman-like"
noodles for .10 cents.  One of those is a meal, if you turn it into noodle
soup.  Add hot sauce for a treat.   Brian>
