[rescue] SGI monitor, or monitors in general =)

Hey,
I know a thing or two (or a bunch) about electronics and electrical
principles, but I was wondering if somebody here might know why an SGI
monitor (actually, a pair of them) would lose it's blue channel
frequently.

Usually when it's turned on we'll have a normal picture for anywhere
from a few seconds up to a number of minutes... but after it's been on
for a while it'll stay mostly tinted yellow (I'm assuming it's losing
the blue channel) with an occasional flicker to blue again.

I've checked the cable connections inside the monitor and I believe it's
receiving the signal where the cable meets the control circuitry.

Any suggestions? =)
