Subject: Seattle, WA: Machines for Adoption

Hello Gentlefolk:

Over the last few years I've been collecting machines, partly to experience
the joys of netbooting x^n different ways. I've amassed a small cache of
machines, but now it is time for me to move. I'm taking a typography
apprenticeship in San Francisco, and being a student, I need to:

1) Gather money for the move
2) Reduce my overall tonnage

So I'm offering the following machines for adoption. I don't really want
to sell them because, well, who knows where they'd end up? I'd feel safer
if they sat somewhere, relatively dust free, and ran NetBSD. If you want to
use these machines for development, so the better! If you can, I'd appreciate
it if you made a modest, much appreciated donation to my moving fund...

Here's the list:

1. Alpha
a. AlphaStation 600/266

2. MIPS
a. DECStation 2100
b. DECStation 2100
c. Personal DECStation (5000/25?)

3. m68k
a. HP 9000/380
b. Sundry Macintoshes

4. SPARC
a. SparcStation 2 (64M ram)
b. SparcStation ELC
c. SparcStation LX
d. SparcStation 4

All machines are reasonably complete (i.e. they should all be able to netboot
in their current condition).

I'm in the Seattle area, and because these machines are heavier than lighter,
I won't ship them elsewhere. But, if you live around here, this might be
your (and my) lucky day.

Cheers!
