I'm not going to embarass myself onlist, but I bet it just makes it say
"SUN" instead of "SEAGATE"


Oh, and then they charge tons more for it..

I have friends from the old IBM AS400 world.. where you HAD to buy IBM
drives with the part number, or it would fuck up tyour service contract and
they could refuse you service

May be also a Sun technique
