Gods forbid you get the opportunity to test-drive a product before you buy it.
even a product that was __FREE__ in the previous revision.  I Don't mind 
paying for it, (I expect it to be better than OpenOffice...) but I would like 
to find out that it doesn't blow goats before I pay for it...

But then, you convince your employer to buy unknown software all the time 
without seeing it in action first, right?  I HATE the idiocy of M$Office at 
work, and have been waiting for months and months for this to come out and be 
a kickass office suite so I can get them off of the last of the BillWare at 
work.
