sun4 was EOL after Solaris 2.4.  sun4c was EOL after Solaris 2.7/7.

I wouldn't be surprised to see sun4m go away in a year or so.  The last
new shipped 4m box (SS5/170) was when, 1998?  Sun seems to follow a 5-year
support track.

I expect that with the ending of 4m Sun will try to go completely to the
64-bit kernel.  In another year or two the driver and 32-bit kernel
requirements for some apps should be nearly gone.
