Yes, actually...  
SMP support, and active projects actually porting useful apps to FreeBSD, 
Like OpenOffice.  

I'd go for NetBSD, if they intended to actually put into a release even a 
tiny fraction of the vaporware improvements that have been talked about for 
the last TWO YEARS!  as in say... maybe SMP for Sparc already???  

I'm beginning to think that all this talk about this improved SMP code is 
just a smokescreen for the fact that they've been spending all their time 
working on getting NetBSD to boot to single user for thirty seconds on the 
PlayStation, so that they can add it to their list of fully supported 
machines...
