Best bet is to search for RSM 2000.   That was the original name, and is 
what is printed on all of the units I've ever seen.   Any units being 
"liquidated" will probably be called by that name.  They were made by LSI, 
and are predecessors of the MetaStor (www.lsilogicstorage.com) line.

They run about $300.   If the battery is failed (2 year life span) then 
caching will be disabled and the performance will be severely 
degraded.  You can enable "cache without batteries" from RAID Manager 6, or 
Symplicity, but make sure you have a decent UPS to prevent data 
corruption.  The batteries only have a 1 year shelf life, so a decent UPS 
is a better long term solution for personal use.
