[rescue] Raised flooring question(s)

You need to glue the posts or else the whole floor will wobble quite a bit 
and be structurally unsound, especially when you start rolling anything 
heavy across the floor plates.  

There are a lot of adhesives that can do the job.  For this I'd probably 
use Liquid Nails, a construction adhesive.
