Joshua asks:
>How does one tell a REAL hardware store from a fake one?

rant:

A REAL hardware store is not a chain hardware store that uses
datawarehousing on its backend servers to determine which products' sales
volumes justify their shelfspace, to facilitate cost economies of buying
vast vast quantities which are doled out to dozens of francisees throughout
the world. While this is a fine, even laudable business practice, it is
antithetical to A REAL hardware store, which strives either a) to have one
of everything or B) to have the peculiarities of their community. B often
small & cluttered with ceiling high shelving.
