[rescue] (YAOTP) 3d stereo on sgi?

I got curious about the little mini-din-3 jack and snagged a pair of
glasses.  Found & grabbed a version of battalion, and was impressed
enough to want to find more 3d software (not necessarily games).
It looks like blender's going through some 'interesting times' (any
mirrors?) and I'm not at all familiar with what else is out there.
