ARGH! Boom! <my head exploding>
We definitely have to do some conversions. We normally work with 32bit PER
CHANNEL tiff's!!!! So 281MB/s x4!!!!! But we do use LZW compression in the
Tiff's. I was talking with one of the guys here, we normally do filmouts
with 10bit Cineon's. So I think it would be more reasonable to try going
from a 10bit Cineon to a comparable tiff.
Here are some file sizes (bit's = /pixel)....
Tiff's
2K no compression 32bit = 12450KB
2K LZW 32bit = 9338KB
2K deflate 32bit = 4849KB
2k no compression 128bit(float) = 49794KB
2k deflate 128bit(float) = 37867KB
Cineon
2k 10bit Cineon = 12474KB
