They are Apple-specific self-mounting disk images.
IIRC you can download all the ones as a set in one directory and when
you click on the first one of a series it grabs all the other images
and checks the internal CRC to ensure that it is not corrupted.
Mac OS should recognize them properly. You need to download in binary
if downloading via FTP. I don't know of any tools to manipulate them
under DOS or Unix.
