That depends on whether the CPU is R10000 or R4400, and whether the IRIX
media is included. eBay isn't kind to Indigo2 systems right now (< $80),
but, where I needing an SGI (and didn't already have IRIX), I'd gladly pay
$150 for a system in that configuration with the CDs, but without the
monitor. Add $10-$20 if it's not a "Killer Impact" configuration (SI w/
175MHz R10000). For the monitor, I'd add in about another $100 if it's an
E-series GDM, $50-60 if it's a D-series.
I don't think I'd give more than $80 for an R4400, though.
If I didn't already have IRIX, I wouldn't buy an SGI without IRIX media.
But, if you sell it on ePay or somewhere like that, most people don't care
because they don't know what a PITA it is to obtain an entire IRIX
distribution.
Something to think about: If you have any need for an "entry-level"
server, consider using that Indigo2 (especially if it's R10000).
celestrion.net is an Indigo2 Killer Impact with 192MB of memory, and it's
easily fast enough for web + mail + MySQL + whatever else I have it doing.
Indigo2 R10k makes a much nicer headless server than it does a desktop,
and Fast Ethernet for them is cheap (not so UW SCSI, though, but you've
got two buses, so it's not -that- bad).
