[rescue] New system - Sun Sparcserver 690MP

Hi Lads

I scored a complete 690MP system today. I can't believe that a single MBus module deserves over 200kg of case :-P

The system came out of Victoria University of Technology and is thankfully both complete and in very good condition. All the plastic is intact and aside from a few chips from the furniture movers *grrr*, the paint is flawless.

The DOM is 1991, but the system has been upgraded along the line to a final configuration of 512MB RAM, 4*1.2GB disks, 8mm + (?) tape drives, SBus fast SCSI, twin VMW SCSI controllers, and an external lunchbox Sparc storage box of unknown cpacity.

Still, not a bad deal for 30USD plus shipping.
