  They're just SPARCclassic systems with castrated ROMs if memory
serves.  Why not just dig up the old Xkernel package and run a
"regular" SPARCstation as an X terminal?  I've built literally dozens
of those (in the early days of Digex, but with Sun3s) and they work
great.
