U1, early non E models are fast narrow SCA SCSI
U1, E models are fast wise SCA SCSI

Early model U1 has 50 pin mini SCSI connection on back of case. Later model
E series machines have 68 pin wide SCSI connection on case.

LVD drives will work but you may have to set the force SE mode jumper to on.
Drives up to 1.6" high will fit in slot 1 (bottom) 1" only in slot 2 (top)
