I was gonna ask how loud and cheap this would be, compared to, say, a large
5400 RPM IDE drive, but rather than shamelessly troll I'll just see how
many commas I can fit in this sentence.

My 4GB 'cudas have an option for spindle sync...wonder how much is involved
in getting that to work...wonder what the PLL lock range is...could you
even run the drive at half speed (3600 RPM)...would the read channel still
work if you slowed the rotation way down...are there any drives out there
that can run at different speeds, to save power/reduce noise...seems like
that might kinda nice for an audio box--run the drive as slow as you can
and still keep up...
