Yes this is just the "drive tray" for a RSM 2000 now known as an
A3000. They are differential. It is just a JBOD without the controller
and RAID Manager 6. They were made by LSI Logic...the controller would
look like a MetaStor 3300's controller, except it would be copper instead
of fibre.
I'm halfway tempted to get one even without the controller for $250. It
would be nice to hang off my differential SCSI...but only halfway tempted
at the moment.
