My Alma Matter's (woot, I can say that now!) SGI Onyx RE2 with MCO and
ASO only needed 110 on a 20A circuit.  Reportedly it doesn't really need
a full 20A circuit, but a dedicated circuit is best even if smaller.
Try at your own risk.  But it certainly shouldn't be 220 only.
