Naw (relatively speaking) - $400 for the one I got for the office - up
to 25 pages in the hopper, runs by itself.
Go to www.tigerdirect.com - search for digital sender 8100c
It's nice. Noisey, but nice.

OMFG!! A local computer graveyard in Melbourne had a pair of used digital
sender 9100c boxes that they were trying to get rid of for around 50USD
each. I passed them up because I saw the 10BaseT interface and assumed they
were some kind of old network fax server or one of those hideous
multifunction office automation boxs (fax/modem/scanner/printer/copier etc).
Now I find out they're actually 15ppm bulk document scanners. Doh!
