Depends on your POV. I've shipped vehicles twice, and both times it
cost me $1k in repairs to fix damage done by the shipper - which you
absolve them of prior to the vehicle going on the truck.
I personaly would rather drive the 'Mog than have it shipped. However,
that's only what *I* would do. To each his own. To me, a 'Mog *is* a
long distance vehicle - but then again, so it my truck. The best fuel
mileage I've gotten out of my truck is 11MPG, that's on flat expanses of
road doing about 55MPH. I've owned vehicles that got worse - my '84
blazer only got 7MPG and I routinely took that down to North Carolina.
Just figgered I'd toss the thought out there...
