  Yes, but to varying degrees, it seems.  Both Rush and Dream Theater
are perfectionists about their arrangements on a note-by-note basis.
Both have layer and layer of detail, to a level second only to some
classical stuff.  Lots of other modern stuff seems very "thrown
together".  To me, this doesn't make it any less "fun" or enjoyable as
music, but there's a definite difference between say, Dream Theater
and Britney Spears that goes far beyond the difference in genre.
