Normally you boot in "normal", then switch to "secure" once up.

Normal: 

	boots on getting power
	"off" button does a shutdown then poweroff
	"reset".... I don't remember offhand.

Secure:

	does not boot on getting power
	"off" and "reset" buttons do nothing.

Service:

	boots on getting power
	"off" button does immediate poweroff
	"reset" button does immediate reset
	boots from a different device list
