On this point, I'm finally able to hire an additional 2 firewall
admin/system admin people (it's only taken 4 months to get "approval" since
the positions were identified and funded) and I'm looking for some clue to
help interview the candidates.

Although I've been to quite a few interviews, I've never been on the other
side of the desk, and now they expect me to run the show. My last few
interviews have been a "show them your suit" affair, I haven't been asked
the hard questions, so I can't really draw on that experience.

I'm looking for Unix lovers with good understanding of TCP/IP, security,
and willingness to work hard. Unfortunately I'll probably have to hire
from internal staff (gives them a career path and all that) so the
applicants will probably be help-desk/level 3 support staff.

Any suggestions, clues, or advice would be greatly appreciated. Email to
me privately preferred to keep down the noise on the list, I'll post a
summary if there is sufficient interest.

Rob
