	Threat level charlie is true. I live in norfolk VA and it's being
run on the TV set's on all channels to alert military personnel that they
must report to the bases immediatly. They have a ticker running on the
screen saying that the bases are at threat level charlie.

Recieved word from a coworker that all US bases have been put on Threat
Condition Charlie.  For those who don't know - I was told that threatcon-C
is a state of total readiness.  In other words - deployment could be ordered
on a moment's notice.

All leaves have been canceled, all military personnel are to report to base,
and all civilians not necessary to operations have been evacuated off-base.

It is important to note that this does not mean that military forces *will*
be deployed, but they are certainly ready to go.
